This Saturday was slightly different. Instead of our normal tidyup session within the woodland we decided to run a tree identification and measuring session. Why? We have a lot of very mature trees which are beloved by the community – our Memory Trees. We know they’re there, so does the community but they aren’t recorded […]
At 7:00 pm on Monday 15th September 6 volunteers from the Woodland Group met on the grassed area in Birch Drive. The weather had been terrible for most of the day with heavy rain and wind, just the type of weather that bats don’t like. However, luck was on our side and after having 20mm […]

The first Saturday of April 2026 was also Easter Saturday so we weren’t sure if many volunteers would be able to attend, especially as there was a storm forecast for the afternoon.
