Join fellow residents for a hands‑on conservation session in the beautiful Maryburgh Community Woodland. Together we’ll keep the woodland healthy and welcoming for everyone.

Activities in the Woodland

  • Removing non‑native invasive species – targeting Western Hemlock and Beech regeneration
  • Pruning overhanging branches that block pathways
  • Trimming shrubs to maintain clear walking routes
  • Litter picking – bags and basic tools supplied

Expert volunteers will be on‑site to give advice and guidance throughout the morning.
