These sessions will be held on the 1st Saturday of each month.

Meet at the grassed area in Birch Drive (W3W – ///makeup.dwarf.briefer)

We will start at 10am and expect the session to last for 2-3 hours but you’re more than welcome to stay as long as you like

What we’ll be doing in the woodland:

  • Removing non-native invasive species – including Western Hemlock and Beech regeneration
  • Pruning branches overhanging paths
  • Pruning shrubs
  • Litter picking

 

What to wear/bring:

  • Dress for outdoors – clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
  • Boots or wellies recommended
  • Drink and a snack

For people who want to pick litter the litter pickers and bags will be provided.

If you have them:

  • Work/gardening gloves
  • Pruning/bow saws
  • Loppers/Secateurs
  • Spade/pick/mattock
  • Garden rake

Expert advice and guidance will be available on the day.

Everyone welcome. Under 16s must accompanied by a responsible adult.
